I don't know if you're trolling or not, but in case you didn't know there's around seventy eight other threads on the subject of Touch Rangers, each more ludicurous and retarded than the next. Please people, don't keep this one going.

Personally, I like to go W/N, but that's just me... I like being able to drop a -10 degen plus conditions on my target in two moves. But I have to confess, I'm in over my head in discussions of what works in PvP as I'm a 95% PvE type. I don't play much PvP outside of factions stuff, and my warrior has been in storage as nearly the whole of the past year has been devoted to my ele. But I have to say, I wouldn't make the generalization that it's impossible for a warrior to exist out there who has figured out a good W/Mo combo. But, I'll bow to your experience if you say that there is not a single player out there who could make it work. No skin of my back either way.
On topic, as a pyro in aspenwood who focuses on gate and mine taking, I've had dozens of run-ins with touch rangers. I can see where they can be deadly in certain circumstances, 1vs.1, but the same tactics I use on the numerous assassins and warriors that come after me work fine on them as well. As far as I remember, I have yet to be killed by a touch ranger. Now... a normal ranger... I respect that. I think it just comes down to what you are really complaining about. Is it that you feel that nothing should be able to kill you? Because as far as I recall, I play with a team of people. My role as nuker is simple, I don't expect to do everything myself, or to be able to take on everything without support, just as I know that I am essential to my team as well. Ok, enough rambling.

Oh, I just have to clarify. My second paragraph was not a response to you Skuld, but to the OP.

Standing up for the Whammos
I play a Whammo. I like my Whammo. She pwns. Don't bust on Whammos. Bust on idiots. The same idiot who plays a Wa/Mo can just as easily play an ele, a necro, a mesmer, monk, whatever. I've seen horrible excuses for players accross all 8 proffessions. Why must we beat on the Whammo?
I say, hug your Whammo. She farms uber leets for you and self manages hex and conditions.
On Topic: ...lock thread, topic dead. Touch Rangers are not overpowered. Anet had an easy opportunity to nerf them with the latest skill balance. If they were as overpowered--noobish--as all too many of you little nubcakes seem to think, don't you think they would have nerfed them???
Maybe, just maybe, Anet knows how easy this build is to counter and wants players to stop whining about it.

Hmm honestly as a touch blackout doesn't annoy me much. You can't use your skills during a few seconds but that's all. Generally you're in a stance so melee fighters won't kill you in 5 secs, your 100+ AL vs elemental attacks protects you from an ele (when you have your skills disabled) and the mesmer who used blackout also has his skills disabled. In my mind the most efficient mesmer skills against a toucher (well the skill that annoy me the most) are the degen with kitting players around. Touchers don't bring troll unguent generally so the only to counter a degen is to use the vamp skills.
But again, SS is also a wonderful skill against touchers, especially if there are teammates near.

alright for all you cry babys against touchers. when guildwars first came out i dont know if you remember this but "Skill not the amount of Experiance" was right on the beta page. damn there is your answer if you have the skill use it. and if you understand meta game it takes only a second to look threw some "Skills" to counter this easily if you cant counter this build simple get the skills to do so. i found that these so called touchers are extremly based around keeping there energy maintained. so use a couple of inturpts with a high amount of degen. simple to get. there is even a stock pvp build that has these skills use that and touch rangers all of a sudden become useless. ok jezz i had to regester to post this. since people obviously dont ever read the main site. it is clear "Skill not the amount of Experiance" you dont have to be a brilliant playier or an experianced playier you just need to know how to meta game. and there is real no best build or situation build or anything like that it is all about playing well with other builds. that is why most people announce there build along with "LFG" so that a group who works well or just wants desperatly for something known to work will choose you for the group.
this is all pretty basic and i dont mean to be hurtful or sound like a jackass. but when i quote or bold something it is something i want you to see it makes reading this big paragraph alittle easier if you can see clearly the points i want to convay. along with all the commentary since i like to see myself type out long rants.

The OP needs to learn to play.
So does everyone else who thinks Touch Rangers are remotely good.
End of story. Now, go start up Guild Wars, you're not going to get any better by whining.
